Should you arrive on the Sunshine Coast earlier than expected, please call the park prior to arriving. If an early check-in isn’t available, please wait until the standard check-in time before arriving at the park.
 
Please contact the Holiday Park directly to make alternative arrangements to enter after hours. For the consideration of other guests, arrival after 8 pm is not permitted.

Q. When do Christmas/Easter/September school holiday bookings open?

A. Normally 12 months in advance – just after the particular holiday period ends.  Best to contact individual park for exact date.

Q. Can I put a caravan on an unpowered site?

A. Yes.  If your caravan is set up for this type of camping and dependent on the size.  Some small caravans are ok and as size of unpowered sites vary – best to check with staff.

Q. What type of power lead do I need if I’m staying on a powered site?

A. 15amp lead is required (in good condition) to limit number of electrical items used at one time to prevent powerpoint from overloading.

Q. Does my drawbar need to face the road?

A. Yes, caravan drawbars do need to face the roadway for safety / evacuation emergencies.

Q. Can I have a fire or brazier on my site?

A. For safety reasons - no open fires. This includes oz-pigs.

Q. Can I bring a generator?

A. No, due to noise and impact on other guests generators are not permitted.

Q. How big are the campsites?

A. Unpowered sites are generally 6m X 6m. Powered sites in the Camping Grounds vary in size from 6m x 6m to 9m x 10m. Powered caravan sites approx 9m x 9m. Some of our sites are 12m x 7.5m. If you require assistance with a site size when booking, please call us.

Q. How many people can I fit on one campsite?

A. A maximum of 6 people per site, including all children and infants.

Q. What is the latest time I can check in?

A. All check-ins are encouraged by close of office at 6pm in winter and 7pm in summer. Late check-in can be arranged prior to 5:30pm on the day of arrival.

Q. Can I use a ground sheet?

A. No, only shade cloth or grass friendly covers, no tarps or ground sheets.

Q. Can I choose my site number in advance?

A. Site allocation is on arrival except Easter, September, Christmas school holidays and 10 week stays. We allocate sites to enable smooth bookings. Site numbers are not guaranteed.

Q. Can we get 2 sites together?

A. We always do our best to keep groups together. Site separation has to be maintained even if groups are side by side.

Q. Can we bring a small dog?

A.  Coolum Beach and Mudjimba Beach Holiday Parks are dog friendly (on application) outside school holidays.

Q. Do you offer a seniors discount?

A. No we do not offer a seniors discount, however Family Parks Australia members do receive discounts. You can join Family Parks on arrival, just ask friendly staff.

Q. Do you offer a discount for longer stays?

A. Weekly bookings are discounted with further reduction of GST after 4 weeks.

Q. Can I bring a boat/Jet ski?

A. Yes as long as you can fit it on your site.

Q. Can we have a second car on the site?

A. Generally no – as there is limited space within the park for additional vehicles.

Q. Can someone help me get my van onto the site?

A. Yes, assistance can be provided to position your van on the site.

Q. Do you accept American Express?

A. No, only Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
