Mooloolaba Beach Holiday Park Redevelopment

The iconic Mooloolaba Beach Holiday Park will be redeveloped based on contemporary concept plans set to further enhance the reputation of Mooloolaba and the Sunshine Coast as premier holiday destinations.

Mooloolaba Beach Holiday Park at Parkyn Parade had welcomed countless holiday makers through its gates over the years and they had created numerous fond memories and lifelong friends.

It's now time for this popular holiday park to be upgraded to ensure it is top of mind as a destination of choice for caravan and camping.

The vision we have for this prime site is to redevelop the park to become an iconic holiday park in keeping with the design of the Mooloolaba Placemaking Plan for the Mooloolaba Foreshore.

There’s no doubt the park has been well loved and its ageing infrastructure needs a refresh.

The current layout also has small sites that are difficult to access and we'll be ensuring the new park is more user friendly.

Innovation was the main driver behind the concept plan which offer larger sites with improved access, new amenities including a camp kitchen with beach views, some elevated camp sites, a new manager's residence and improved access to the refurbished boardwalk.

The proposed design also minimises energry and water consumption are in line with council's vision of striving to be Australia's most sustainable region - health, smart creative.

The construction work for the Mooloolaba Beach Holiday Park is scheduled to start after the current management service contract expires on June 30, 2019 and is anticipated to take five-and-a-half months.
